FLIGHTS

You are flying into the Cusco Peru International Airport (CUZ). Most international flight paths will take you to Lima, Peru. You will then need to book a local flight from Lima to Cusco.

This takes you over the stunning Andes Mountain range. For best views, be sure to select a window seat on the left side of the plane. It’s exhilarating.

Local Airlines

There are three local airlines from Lima to Cusco. LATAM will be the most expensive but has the best on time record and number of flights. LATAM also has flights from other countries.

* LATAM

* Star Peru

* Peruvian Airlines

your cusco arrival

Please let us know your entire flight schedule when this is known. Once your arrive into Cusco, we will arrange your transport to the retreat center. This ONLY pertains to the day of check-in and check-out. If you arrive early, see below.

Early Arrivals

If you want to arrive early into Cusco to acclimatize, we suggest staying at one of the many hotels near the main Plaza de Armas, right in downtown Cusco. It’s a wonderful vibe and so much to explore. Please let us know your plans so that we can find you on check in day!

Overnight IN LIMA

HOTEL: If you arrive late into Lima and need to book a hotel, you have options. The most convenient choice is to stay at one of two airport hotels via free shuttle. These airport hotels are, of course, more expensive . We are happy to try and find you a roommate to share costs. Please let us know. These hotels are:

* Holiday Inn Lima Airport

* Wyndham Costa Del Sol Lima Airport

For more economical options, or if you want to see the historical sites of Lima, we recommend that you stay in the safer Miraflores district, 45 minutes from the airport. You can also stay in downtown Lima, 35 minutes away. There are a multitude of sleeping options that you can Google. It is best to remain in the tourist districts at all times and in nicer hotels. There is a shady side to Lima if you venture off the tourist path.

BUS: There is a very economical tourist bus from the Airport to your chosen destination… Airport Express Lima.

TAXI: If you take a taxi from the Airport, it is recommended to use “Taxi Green”. Most drivers speak English. You can catch that right at the airport as soon as you leave the bagging area. It is not advisable to get an anomynous taxi driver when outside the airport building.
