RETREAT TRAVEL LOGISTICS

CHECK-IN: Tuesday, July 7, between 2 and 5 pm.

CHECK-OUT: Thursday, July 16 after our group breakfast and by 11:00 am.

Blessings dear initiates! It is time now to begin the necessary research for your travel reservations. Mount Shasta is a little remote so it gets a bit tricky to find the best possible situation. There are several options outlined below. All travel is taken care of during the retreat.

PLEASE SEND US ALL OF YOUR RESERVATIONS ONCE FINAL.

Following are general considerations for travel to the holy mountain:

CHECK IN DAY

Everyone will check in at our main retreat venue:

If you are not driving, local area pickups will be made between the preferred hours of 2-5 pm. This includes the bus station, the Amtrak station and Berryvale Grocery in the heart of town. Once we know your plans, we can accommodate you the best we can.

AIRPORTS

Closest airports are

1. ROGUE VALLEY INTERNATIONAL-MEDFORD AIRPORT in Medford, Oregon, 1.25 hours north.

2. REDDING MUNICIPAL AIRPORT in Redding, CA, 1 hour south.

3. SACRAMENTO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, in Sacramento, CA, 3 hours south.

4. SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, San Fransisco, CA, 5 hours south

BUS AND TRAIN

Once arriving at the airport of your choice, and if you do not want to rent a car, you can take either the Greyhound Bus or the Amtrak Train to get you very close to Mt. Shasta.

* There is a Greyhound Bus drop off in Weed, CA… 10 minutes from our  retreat location.

* There is an Amtrak train station in Dunsmuir, CA… 20 minutes from our retreat location.

If you take the bus or train from the airport, we can arrange to pick you up and take you to our retreat venue.

LOCAL AREA PICKUPS ARE AVAILABLE DURING OUR CHECK IN HOURS OF: JULY 7 BETWEEN 2 AND 5 PM.
THIS INCLUDES THE BUS STATION, THE TRAIN STATION AND BERRYVALE MARKET IN MT. SHASTA.

If you arrive early into Mount Shasta, you will need to find a place to relax until you are able to be picked up. The town is wonderful, with many places to go… there is a popular organic food store and deli hangout, “Berryvale”.

There is an Uber service for the Mount Shasta area.
